When we arrived at Robert Evans house in Keningau the first thing I noticed was these 2 WW2 allied bombs. Robert told me they were a 1000 pound & 250 pound bombs that had been dropped on the Japanese in area but failed to explode, when the British retook the area in 1945 they defused them and removed the explosive and gave the casings to him, he had a friend who was a welder make and weld on the fins he has had the bombs ever since.
